To develop a comprehensive investment strategy for Direct Hospitality (within the parameters of the approved global real estate strategy) together with an implementation plan for the suggested strategy. To present the Hospitality strategy to the Investment Committee and Board as required.
To source direct hospitality investment opportunities, using either the organization’s existing network of contacts and/ or own contacts, as per the strategy.
To further develop the network of contacts in order to enhance the quality of proprietary deal flow. These additional contacts could be financial institutions with specialist capabilities in hospitality and retail direct investments/ Investment Banks/ other financial intermediaries or advisory groups, who may or may not participate in the transactions alongside the organization.
To screen investment opportunities, carry out a preliminary review and prepare a summary, to determine whether or not detailed due diligence should be undertaken.
To undertake detailed financial analysis of the opportunity from the viewpoint of the organization along with a credible exit strategy.
