Our client a highly successful fast growing FMCG company is currently recruiting for a Digital Marketing Executive to be based in Muscat-Oman
PURPOSE OF ROLE
• The primary purpose of this role is to execute all brand communications through digital and social channels (to include online, new media, web and e-commerce). In this way we expect to make a significant contribution to the development, execution and assessment of innovative, results-oriented digital marketing and social media campaigns. The goal is to support of the company's overall strategic goals with a focus on driving consumer engagement and building brand loyalty.
REPORTING AND KEY RELATIONSHIPS
• This role will report directly to the Company’s Digital Marketing Manager and is located in the Marketing Department.
This role works across various functions in the marketing department with a number of internal customers’

KEY ACCOUNTABILTIES
• Includes developing and implementing online marketing activities such as:
• Digital Marketing initiatives
• Email marketing
• Social media
• Website updates
• Online advertising
• Blog entries and press releases and writing pieces of copy.
• It also includes investigating competitors’ activities and making recommendations for e-marketing strategy improvement.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Works with both online and offline business partners to create and leverage campaigns in the digital space
• Manages social media sites
• Identifies and proposes e-marketing strategies that will support the business achieve its objectives
• Copywriting, blogging, tweeting, writing press releases.
• Updating current web content, creating new web content,
• Interacting with consumers on social media, websites and blogging platforms.
• Providing Product Managers with marketing material for campaign promotion
• Advising and assisting the Product Management team with interaction techniques over social media sites for campaign promotion
• Develops the Facebook Application
• Develops "Brand Advocates" from the Company's fan base, using Digital properties
• Deals with online PR
• Creates and implements external media, clients and partners list, and partnership strategy
• Develops and builds subscriber acquisition and subscriber retention
• Drives and builds brand awareness
• Develops traffic generation strategies
• Optimises activities for both quantity of traffic and engagement or traffic as well as subscription acquisition
• Creates e-mail marketing initiatives and lead generation through email marketing
• Supports creative teams such as content creation and content strategy for emails and blogs
