Our Client - A large FMCG based company in Oman, is looking to recruit a Central Procurement Manager (directly reporting to the General Manager).
- Develop an effective procurement Strategy and SOP.
- Develop vendor selection and assessment SOP.
- Manage effective resource allocation.
- Develop standard contract;participate in contract finalization.
- Undertake management of vendors.
- Oversee light weighting of packages, effectively managing logistics for cost optimization.
- Undertake expiration management by introducing new procurement practices.
- Develop specialist skills to manage corporate procurement function including developing and administering corporate contracts.
- Develop policies and procedures, procurement systems and business solutions for vendor held stock and to manage risk and reduce costs of carrying inventories.
