The Operations Optimization Manager responsibilities include but not limited to:
• Manages all Operations Optimization activities.
• Manages interdepartmental (FAC, RMT, Data management, Field Ops etc.) interfaces on all matters related to Operations.
• Manages the safe and smooth operation of all Oman North oil/gas gathering, handling and processing facilities.
• Contributes to short and long-term organizational planning and strategy as a member of the Operations management team.
• Owner of the monthly production deferment database ensuring all upcoming maintenance/shutdowns are executed according to agreed deferment and timeline.
• Process troubleshooting and optimization of Oman North Processing Facilities.
• Perform quality controls and monitor production KPI’s to ensure production targets are achieved safely.
• Manages a team which provides support on process troubleshooting and project implementation.
• Ensures that Operation projects are implemented according to design and on schedule.
• Participates and ensuring operations budget is built as per production profile/capital projects plan.
• Monitors operations expenses and approves all high value invoices.
• Manages Operations interfaces between third parties on behalf of the company.
• Prepares and present all operational technical presentations as required.
• Ensuring Stations Risk assessments/HAZOP revalidations are completed according to plan and recommendations to mitigate/eliminate risks are implemented accordingly and at minimum cost.
• Member of the Process Risk Management Team - Process re-evaluation, mitigation and implementation.
• Manages all Operational contracts ensuring that contracts are implemented according to agreed terms and conditions and are renewed on time.
• Leads the Operations Optimization team staff to identify surface operations inefficiencies and generate justified solution proposals.
• Mentors the Operations optimization team to improve production system safety and efficiency, and reduce production deferrals.
• Provides technical expertise in system challenges and design of new systems.
• Develops competency matrix, development plans, succession plans, to meet goals of improved system and minimizing deferred production.
• Ensures project plans and details are technically reviewed by the Operations Optimization team to identify and rectify potential operational challenges prior to construction.
• Champions special projects as directed by Operations Manager.
• Covers for Operations manager duties when required to do so.
