About Your Job:
Reporting to Sales Manager, the Senior Sales Support Agent will be responsible to effectively support the sales force to achieve and maximize the revenue targets ensuring the commercial success of the airline in the area of responsibility. Create maximum awareness of QR's products and services.

Prepare all the needed reports for CM, SM and sales team- MIDT, E-Smash on daily / weekly basis.

Highlight the gray areas in order to investigate remedial action.
*
Keep the local reports such as Data warehouse updated with the most available updated data. (Different source BO/IRIS/local corporate agreements).

Provide maximum technical support to the Sales Force to ensure increased awareness of QR's products/services.

Assist fares review and prices positioning
*
Provide intelligence reports on QR and other airline products/ services/ practices from newspaper and other channels.
*
Handle & inquires problems encountered by the corporate/agents and liaise with the relevant departments at Head Office, if required.
*
Maintain regular contacts with the travel industry and corporate houses and assist them on their pricing needs
*
Identifying new business opportunities.
*
Prepare flyers and updates fare circulars for the trade and corporate accounts.
*
Performs other related duties, as assigned, for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the work unit.
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will have a bachelors degree or equivalent combined with two years of experience in a customer service role within the Airline / Travel or Hospitality industries. Previous experience as a Reservation Agent would be well regarded. Completion of a recognised IATA / Airline Basic Tariff Course would be an added advantage.
You must be fluent in English (oral and written) is essential.
