Greet the client on arrival at Service Reception.
Carry out an interactive inventory on the vehicle along with the client.
Obtain client and vehicle data.
Maintain vehicle history properly.
Make sure all Service Actions and Recall Actions are done in time.
Make sure that all schedule inspections are completed on vehicles come for repair and service.
- Attend / Greet customers, Open job cards
- Provide estimate for labor and parts. If cost cannot be established during reception, leave open and contact customer for approval.
- Establish method of payment and obtain approval for credit if required.
- Establish delivery schedule and check with person responsible for work distribution if required.
- Contact customer for estimate, delivery changes and record such changes in Job card and inform concerned.
- Deliver vehicle to customer; Provide body and paint estimates.
- Maintain follow up program and additional items found in need of repair.
- Maintain appointment list; Provide daily schedules and work in progress list.
- Compare final invoice with the original estimate
- Sales - Ensure all dispatches are invoiced and all error logs/reports are cleared promptly.
- Payments - Ensure supplier and other payments are made on due dates to maintain Company’s reputation.
- Reconciliations - Ensure timely preparation of monthly reconciliations for Bank accounts, Suppliers, Customers and other GL accounts.
- Assist in trouble-shooting and resolving ERP integration issues along with key users/counterparts in other departments.
- Monitors operation of company policies, processes and procedures for compliance. Reports non conformance and issues to be addressed
