Our Client - A large FMCG based company in Oman, is looking to recruit a Supply chain Manager (directly reporting to the Head of Operations).
- Develop and execute the yearly budget, staffing, warehousing needs to meet the AOP objectives.
- Direct planning of suppliers’ deliveries and order scheduling via Oracle/ MRP process.
- Direct short-term to mid-term production scheduling and ensuring balance of operation efficiency & inventory management.
- Direct functions of logistics and operations planning.
- Support procurement activities across the business, commodity management & supplier selection.
- Establish standard operating procedures and supply chain KPIs.
- Implement of ongoing long-range strategic planning with Business Development in order to provide new business opportunities, capacity, and investment decisions.
- Lead finished goods warehouses, raw materials warehouses and operations planning unit, to deliver overall AOP using the synergy between these functions.
- Support operating cash flow OCF, MOH & S&D budgets.
- Ensure continuous compliance to policies & procedures.
- Monitor supplier performance tracking and develop with suppliers initiatives to further reduce costs.
- Ensure that deployment takes place according to the freshness report to help FG WH implement FIFO system.
- Monitor weekly KPIs and set action plans with the team to assess and evaluate department performance.
- Prepare FG import plan based on availability, forecast, and lead time.
- Ensure that all processes complied with ISO/COSO/SOX standards.
- Provide the proper training, guidance and couching for employees to help them develop their multi-skills.
