The position is responsible for day to day service & maintenance activities of Marine Engines inside the branch workshop and the field. The position will correctly diagnose and repair faults; prepare quotations as accurate as possible at the time of estimation; write Clear Field Service Reports after completion of each job and obtain customer approval/payment. The position is responsible for the highest levels of work quality and customer satisfaction and should be able to conduct duties in a workshop environment or independently travel to worksites in various locations.
The position will work closely with the Aftersales Supervisor / Team Leader to ensure that jobs are completed within stipulated manufacturers or local standard times. Timely and accurate machine fault diagnosis and high level of ‘first-time fix'. Recommend preventive maintenance and repair solutions to reduce risk of breakdown. The position will comply with company QHSE guidelines and SOPs and report all incidents to the supervisor; participate in Tool Box Talk meetings and undertake safety awareness trainings as provided by the company; follow emergency & evacuation procedure of the company.
About You
You should be a Technical Diploma / Engineering certificate holder and should have minumum 2 years of working experience in a marine dealer workshop. Working experience on 4-stroke outboard engines will be an advantage. You should be technically competent, with ability to diagnose and repair and maintain marine outboard engines within set time-frame. You must be able to communicate in both written and spoken English.
