Checks the operations data for the Assigned Units periodically to evaluate the performance. Carries-out a comprehensive review of the performance of his area. Monitoring the chemical and catalyst consumption for his area. Monitoring the refinery losses and trying to minimize the flare, slops…etc for his area. Carries-out a detailed review of the debottlenecking reports from the individual process units, suggest practical solutions. Carry out the conceptual design for the new project and for the new modification. Carry out preliminary feasibility study and preparing for tender documents for FEED. Implements proper data storage (computer based), documentation system for the smooth functioning of the section. Recommends / implements the usage of the necessary software. Provides comments on Process Flow Diagrams (PFD) and Piping & Instrumentation diagrams (P&ID) and other design documents which are issued by Licensors for good design practices and consistency. Follows up on the detailed engineering of the projects, checks design calculations, engineering drawings & specifications.
