Responsible to lead the SCADA Master System engineers for operate and maintenance of SCADA/EMS Software at Load Dispatch Centre.
The main Software to be operated and maintained includes:-
1 - SCADA/EMS applications
2 - Power System Training Simulator (OTS Applications).
3 - Operating Systems
4 - Ethernet LAN & Office applications.
Configuration and customization of Software - Database, mimics, reports, cases, historic, data.
Oversee new Technologies & practices of SCADA systems concept and plan future upgrades, expansions and the replacement of the system
Manage the interlink protocol between control centres
Review SCADA security of the system
and ensure implementation of such procedures
Manage contracts of support maintenance agreements with system Manufacturers and system agents
Coordination with various OEMs in technical issues of SCADA Protocols such as IEC 60870-5-101,103,104.
Integrating new Grid stations by carrying local Database and End to End Test with LDC.
Assisting EMS Engineer for Database Modifications.
Review of FAT and SAT Documents and attending the tests at OEM Factories.
Propose / review policies, procedures and processes for the SCADA systems and monitor the implementation of these policies and procedures by other staff.
Sharing skills and experience with colleagues and supporting the development of others through coaching where possible
Other Requirement:
Knowledge and Understanding of the Asset Management,HSE Management System and IT Security Standard Requirements according to ISO55001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001 and ISO 27001 to carry out the assigned duties as per the roles and responsibilities matrix.

Report incidents of HSE violations and lapses to competent authority
Asset Management System :
Understand and implement Asset Management System of the company.
Adhere ISO55001 standard of the Asset Management System that manage the whole life cycle of asset.
Maintenance of Load Dispatch Centre’s SCADA system and its associated Front End Communication System. Responsible for implementing appropriate preventive maintenance programs.
