International F&B catering business requires a Purchasing and Logistics / Supply Chain Manager based in Muscat, Oman.
Our client is a trusted provider of both F&B and non-food products within the premium catering sector. it is an international business with operations across the Middle East and is partnered with some of the globes most instantly recognisable F&B customers across airline catering, HORECA and the wider catering industry supplying a range of products from fresh through to frozen and chilled items.
The Purchasing and Logistics Manager is responsible for developing, implementing and following policies and procedures covering the selection of suppliers, performance measurement, commodity purchase and procurement map.
This position manages all aspects from selection of suppliers to delivery onsite including; tenders, contract management, purchase order validation and follow up, logistic organisation, ensuring right delivery and accurate reporting to your colleagues, hierarchy and head office.
As part of the management team you will be responsible for managing a team of ten Purchase Officers and 20 Drivers and Logistic Attendants and will report into the General Manager for the region.
