JOB SUMMARY
Managers at this level manage and develop subordinates, set, maintain and audit internal rules and guidelines, review and validate prepared reports and analysis, evaluate the performance of the system and take appropriate improvement measures.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND OBLIGATIONS:
- Design general guidelines and procedures that ensure the conformity of activities to ISO standards, internal requirements and contractual and legal regulations.
- Review the prepared plans, procedures and instructions for each project and make the appropriate corrections to ensure their alignment to the overall system and applicable requirements.
- Identify the key actors for the system’s success, enhance their leadership and commitment and prepare the necessary programs that aim to boost people involvement.
- Develop internal and external communication channels to ensure the proper implementation of the system.
- Set objectives and action plans, and monitor the operational performance of each project with regards to the preset objectives.
- Intervene in case of emergencies or major problems and take the appropriate measures to prevent their redundancy.
- Plan and conduct regular on-site inspections and audits to verify the application of relevant procedures and guidelines and make appropriate recommendations to correct discrepancies.
- Review submitted reports, undertakes analysis, develop recommendations, and provide professional guidance and support relating to own area of specialty.
- Provide recommendations regarding the transfer of quality staff in order to fulfil the projects’ needs.
- Liaise with legal authorities to be constantly up-to-date with applicable requirements and ensure compliance at all levels.
- Participate in management review meetings to evaluate on-site practices and propose recommendations and alternatives for continual improvement.
- Provide guidance and support to subordinates and line managers on matters relevant to own area of specialty.
- Coach subordinates on managerial issues and matters related to planning and cost control in order to higher their responsibilities.
- Enforce leaning culture at all levels to improve team’s performance and enhance the level of knowledge within the organization.
- Manage and motivate the team, appraise their work performance and recommend adequate trainings to enhance their motivation and improve their performance.
