Promoting and facilitating innovative research ideas at the college with a collaborative and interdisciplinary approach. Establish networks between the center and researchers from public and private sectors, locally, nationally and internationally. Lead and support staff to obtain project funding, project partners and related policies. Be ambitious to increase the depth of research and its scope of knowledge exchange and translation in line with the vision and mission of the college.
- Promote and facilitate collaborative and interdisciplinary research in the college
- Connect the research ideas from various academic departments to local, national or international partners
- Take a key role in the development of policies and procedures for the implementation of the college’s research strategy
- Develop and lead the implementation of the college’s research strategy, including the achievement of targets for research income
- Enhance research capacity of the college by improving internal and external opportunities and related funding provisions
- Produce a track record of delivering creative and innovative strategic research and knowledge exchange outcomes for both students and academic staff
- Other duties as assigned within the scope of the job role
