HR Specialist
• Provides specialized expertise in one or more human resources functional areas
• Travel across Oman o visit sites and teams
• Lead Occupational health projects annualy
• To ensure that there is a proper, accurate & timely HR information flow and support within the organisation
• Provide support to HR Manager in driving organisational changes in order to best support strategic orientations and performance plans.
Key Role & Responsibilities
Employee Database Management
• Maintains records and updates in the system for staff such as transfer/promotion/resignation/new staff/increment of salaries in Adrenalin
• Maintains organisational structures keeping Workday up to date and utilising for business efficiency
• Maintain HR databases and manual filing systems in accordance to corporate policy
• Support the HRM in defining and propose HR policies: recruitment, training and development, career management, reward, , H&S and communication
Payroll & Administration
• Supervise Personnel Administration and Payroll for the site, ensuring on-time delivery, accuracy of information provided and legal compliance (especially for payroll, individual contracts…)
• Identify areas of improvement in HR & administrative procedures and implement appropriate solutions in order optimise costs, time and accuracy of the work handled
Reporting/Presentations
• Prepare the monthly HR reports and submit.
• Prepare and provide weekly/monthly report to the HR Manager. (Overtime/Attendance etc).
• Provide any other data as and when required.
• Prepare necessary presentations as and when directed by the HR Manager.
Recruitment
• Support the HR Manager in recruitment of positions in the BU.
• Support in managing the induction/on boarding of new joiner.
• Support in the visa, work permit etc work if required.
Operations
• Provide employees with the relevant documents based upon request. (NOC or Salary Letter for Loan/ Credit Cards etc)
• Keep a record of all the letters issued.
• Guide and provide necessary information to all the employees with respect to existing policies and procedures of the organisation.
• In case of resignations and termination calculate the final service settlement amount and get HRM approval.
• Collect the relevant documents during the exit process.
• Develop and encourage internal communication; create network and maintain good relationship within the plant, adapting communication tools to each one; help the Management in internal communication actions
• Promote the company’s values and culture within the BU
Social climate
• Measure social climate in BU in order to prevent tensions and conflicts
• Create a strong/positive climate and maintain high level morale via all necessary communication and animation tools
Health & Safety
• Promote Health & Safety policies within the BU.
• Assure that legal authorisations and licences are recorded, in line with the procedures and up-to-date
Learning & Development
• Understand and support HRM to implement learning and development programs and tools that sustain necessary behavioural changes: training, organization development and change interventions, coaching.
