To conduct plant maintenance and up-keep all mechanical installations, associated systems and facilities of CCGT power plant located at Ibri and Sohar, so to ensure reliable operation to the fullest satisfaction of the customers and optimum usage of assets; plan, schedule. To monitor the execution of routine preventive/predictive mechanical maintenance and breakdown maintenance on Generation facilities and ensure adherence to the company’s quality procedures.
•To maintain the plant and building mechanical systems, substation equipment and package mechanical systems and maximize their availability for uninterrupted plant operation by following different maintenance strategies, procedures and through proper job and spares planning.
•Carry out daily inspections, attend defects, breakdowns, servicing of Plant Rotary and Static Equipment mainly Compressors, Pumps, Valves including the Major repairing and overhauling of machines so to ensure smooth, effective and efficient operation of the plant.
•Conduct disassembling and assembling of CCGT power plant Items. Preference shall be given to candidates having hands on Experience of Gas Turbine Turbine GT 26 machine and Ansaldo Manufactured Steam Turbines.
•Prepare and provide required tools and machinery to ensure availability for required maintenance work.
•Perform maintenance of all sort of Cranes, Compressors, Valve, Pumps, Auxiliary Equipment, and Fuel forwarding skid to ensure safety and smooth operation of the plant.
•Attend to emergencies/breakdowns and/or defects and be available on call to contribute to uninterrupted plant operations.
•Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic problems associated with process equipment.
•Conduct inventory of spare parts to provide a history/record of the tools and spare parts used and current condition of mechanical equipment in the plant.
•Assist in coordination with Procurement to ensure availability of spare parts etc. and draft PRs/POs.
•Prepare Store requests and follow ups for spare parts.
•Assist with technical inspection of spare parts at the time of goods receipt.
•Count quantity at the time of goods receipt.
•Compile all required information/data/records on installation, maintenance and repair work done on mechanical equipment of the plant for necessary reporting.
•Adhere to company's HSE and security policies at all the times and report any violations to HSE representative.
•Follow all safety procedures such as Lockout/ Tag-out, Confined Space and PPE.
•Adhere to all Company policy and procedures.
•Prepare all necessary Maintenance reports on time.
•Well versed with Condition Monitoring Tools for Vibration and Thermography.
•Guide subordinates by providing them with technical guidance, training and the required learning opportunities to ensure that subordinates grow in their roles
•Facilitate team development activities and ensure a sound work culture within the Maintenance function
