• Procurement of Engineering equipment’s and materials utilized in Oil & Gas Sector
• Able to make technical analysis, commercial analysis and negotiations.
• Have a knowledge of Logistic management
• Should have a command over supply chain process
• Finding new potential sources & evaluating the same.
• Discover profitable suppliers and initiate business and organization partnerships
• Sourcing right material, on time delivery, with right Quality, optimal cost & the right quantity.
• Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness
• Collaborate with key persons to ensure clarity of the specifications and expectations of the company
• Foresee alterations in the comparative negotiating ability of suppliers and clients
• Evaluate vendor’s quotation to ensure that they are in line with the technical and commercial specifications required for the project.
• Assist in ISO Annual Performance Review for vendors. Evaluate supplier performance based on quality standards, delivery time & best prices and ensure all the criteria are met according to the organizational requirements and expectation.
• Resolve supply, quality, service and invoicing issues with vendors.
• Responsible for implementing internal procurement strategies to cater to high delivery and short lead time requirements.
• Establishing contracts with appropriate terms & conditions to ensure the Buyer’s requirement & security. Familiar with INCOTERMS, payment tools / terms.
• Undertake any other ad-hoc duties as assigned
• Maintains co-ordination with the material indenter, finance, stores, and logistics.
• Maintains good coordination with manufacturers, suppliers, freight forwarders, clearing agents.
