Department: Maisarah Islamic Banking Services - Investment Banking and Capital Markets
Reports: to Senior Executive Manager - Maisarah Investment Banking and Capital Markets
Job purpose Responsible for the execution and implementation of Islamic investment banking and capital markets transaction including debt and equity capital markets, fund management, Sharia compliant investments, advisory, private equity, project finance and real estate finance services.
Key tasks and duties:
- Ensure the execution of the Islamic banking & capital markets mandates.
- Ensure that all the regulatory, risk and compliance requirements have been considered and met while executing transactions.
- Develop and reviewing marketing material for transactions.
- Coordinate and liaise for the selection of third party advisors to facilitate smooth execution of the transactions.
- Liaise with Shariah team to finalize Sharia structure in line with customers’ requirements.
- Coordinate with the distribution and fund raising process for capital market transactions.
- Handling cross - selling activities and identify asset management, private equity, real estate finance, IPO’s and investment services opportunities within existing customer network.
