The Information Security Officer (ISO) shall be accountable for ensuring appropriate controls in line with group security policies and standards are in place for the security of information assets. The ISO safeguards information by ensuring that security risks are identified assessed and accurately reported to Group Security at HO. Additionally, the ISO shall be responsible for ensuring that bank’s information security practices are complying with all local regulatory and legal requirements and also with bank’s internal policies, procedures, guidelines and standards.
The ISO shall be a nominee of Group Security for bank’s local office and a point of contact for providing Information Security advisory services to local entities and shall act as a focal point for security compliance related activities and responsibilities.
