For expansion in the Middle-East, we are looking for a (m/f) Pre Sales Engineer
Your Responsibilities
• Supporting Area Sales managers with the preparation of technical offer documents
• Assessment and risk analysis of incoming URSs (User Requirement Specifications) and RFQs (Request for Quotation) on the basis of internationally accepted standards and the company standard (Toolbox)
• Creation of Deviation Lists from customer specifications for discussion with both customers as well as for the department heads’ strategic decision-making, i.e., comparing the URS with the internal standard toolbox
• Internal project management: Definition of the technical documents to be drawn up for an offer; ensuring the completion date, communication with involved responsible persons, change revisions of technical documents etc.
• Basic interpretation of the offer (such as P & ID, PFD, SIP / CIP strategies, etc.) taking into account the tool box and standards
• Technical bid clarification meetings with customers
• Evaluation and documentation of technical risks
• Calculate the cost of change orders from ongoing projects
• Creation of a Tracebility Matrix based on customer requirements
• Feedback on new needs and requirements based on customer requests,
• Market trends and competition (promotion of innovation)
