Job Requirements:
Ensuring that all food is labelled clearly and correctly. on time and to the required standard on a daily basis
given, prescribed routins, and standard accepted practices A minimum of high School Graduation Or 3 year experience in the same field Must Have full knowledge on all menu Items in detals
Maintain proper hygiene standars all over the shop (A Clean-As-You-Go policy)
Verbal and written communication skills, including ability to communicate with all staff members and work in a team Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude Must Have basic knowledge of ececuting sauces and general mis en place preperation Must have the knowledge to use kitchen machines and equipment Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions
Follow up on cleaning procedures according to the cleaning schedule (Do Not count on Stewards) Make sure to use the daily form to monitor food stocks and stock movement and ensure minimum kitchen wastage Control the stock and ensure that mis en place is completed in the section Execute a daily inventory / requisition and to be presented to the supervisor or manager Report any maintenace issues to the supervisor or manager immediatley In case any contact with guests, smile and be helpful and call the supervisor or manager for support
Follow food safety and Security Standards without fall at all times
Must follow the same recipes, ingredients and method of all preperation items as per the product manual Maintain the quality of all ingredients and commodities in preperation for cooking as well as cooking Maintain all machines, equipment and tools related to the shawerma central kitchen and branch Maintain storage of all provisions, fresh and frozen, in accordance with current food hygiene regulations including stock Communicate with the supervisor / manager to ensure foodstuffs required have been received and are prepared
