Role & Mission
The aim of this role is to promote and grow the Betafence Group business activity in Oman and the rest of the Middle East region. To manage the targeted markets, product portfolio, product application and sales structures within these countries. Manage, drive and coordinate the following aspects inline with the annual budget: market share, sales volume, sales margin, development of new customers, new market applications of existing products, High Security Integrated Solution Sales. Close working relationship with internal departments to enhance the Total Solution approach to the market. Accurate market analysis and reporting of market conditions in defined countries.
Important Note: This is a project orientated market. The main focus is to identify, evaluate, facilitate and win new projects within the region.
Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
o To propose, develop, implement and monitor sales objectives consistent with the budget targets in order to achieve agreed sales volume, pricing and selling cost objectives, within agreed policies and through focused action programs
o Continuously move towards the selling and promotion of total solutions within our current ability in target markets & regions
o To search for and develop market opportunities for the existing product & service portfolio and to search for and develop new customers: to develop and maintain ongoing relationships with major customers and potential new accounts
o To provide accurate market forecasts, regular updates of this forecast and planning the execution thereof in order to contribute to the targeted service levels, the overall customer service process and achievement of targets as per budget.
o To implement general commercial terms within agreed procedures and policies
Internal Communication & Relationship Building
o Build, maintain, improve and ensure a practical, effective and professional relationship with all internal departments on an international basis: Product Management, Quality Control, Customer Service, Product Management, Operations, Finance and HR.
o Collaborate and build relationships with internal sales / business development colleagues to enhance commercial synergies within the middle east & IMEA region
Research and Development through Market Analysis
o Develop an excellent awareness and application opportunities of our products in the perimeter security market place.
o Develop strong & lasting relationships with Clients by networking and attending to requests and possible customer complaints.
o Through the above activities, identify new commercial opportunities for new products as well as new applications for existing products
Administration
o Prompt response to all incoming communication
o Feed market with regular information sources.
o Complete monthly reports and other admin duties on time.
o Continuous client database management.
