We are hiring on the behalf of our customer, Our Customer is a Telecom provider  based in Oman, We are looking for a Commercial Head to manage the below Responsibilities: 


 


Business Commercial:


Liaise with the management to identify key input for the development of the company’s functional strategy, road map and annual operating plan Prioritize projects internally based on business needs and company’s interest.


Ensure appropriate margins and profitability levels are maintained in line with shareholder expectations Identify cross functional commonalities between Commercial, Operations and Finance units and drive synergies within commercial; Sales, Marketing, Procurement and Partnerships Set, follow and strive to achieve commercial and strategic KPIs through the team, with proactive monitoring and reporting to management, leads and individuals Ensure the team has adequate support from the different company units, to develop winning products with the right pricing strategy, JIT implementation to finally deliver the desired revenue targets Manage and support  the team in co-ordinating the  implementation of products between the network and IT, Customer Service and suppliers to ensure a launch on time, in budget and to specifications.


Marketing Management:


Set and own the P&L along with all commercial KPIs of the unit and provide periodic reporting and forecasting, to the management, each function, product and sales individuals Develop and own the company’s marketing strategy, from branding, pricing, products and digital prospective Lead, direct and support the Marketing Manager throughout the product development, pricing and GTM actives to ensures on time and within budget delivery Conduct periodic reviews with the team following to ensure KPIs are met in terms of customer uptake, usage, and revenue and customer satisfaction, along with periodic market benchmark and competitive analysis Ensure the company’s visibility at major events and presence in relevant gathering Sales Channel Management Lead and direct sales channel manager to plan sales activates round the year based on AOP and market insights Set sales KPIs and support the function lead in developing healthy pipeline Proactively monitor opportunities, based on 80/20 and help in closure or involve management and board members where and when required for positive influence Drive online sales through digital and social channels.


 Partners & Contract Management: 


Enable a portfolio of advanced products that are delivered in cooperation with partners, either in joint venture set-ups or in a fully outsourced manner Ensure a full set of processes and procedures for the development, launch and management of partners delivered services and solutions.


Ensure best practices for procurement are followed in complete transparency Drive company decision when to procure and where to partner based on commercial, and strategic objectives.


Manage the relationships with partners, assure their adherence to SLAs and take disciplinary actions when required


KPI:


Achievement of AOP revenue and profit targets


-  Budget management


– Development & delivery of marketing and products road map.


- Effective sales management and customer life cycle management


- Smart team management through clear KPIs, encouragement and disciplinary.


QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:Education: University degree (Commercial, IT, Telecom or MBA)


Required Experience and Knowledge to be able to do the job:


- Minimum of 10 years working experience within an IT or Telecommunications business is a must


- 3 years specific commercial B2B experience within telecom at management level.


- 5 years within a product development/management function/marketing & sales Significant understanding and experience of product management, pricing, and proposition/GTM In depth knowledge of market and B2B segment for ICT, and Sales practices


- Knowledge of relevant ICT solutions; Co-location, Cloud, SaaS, Paas & IaaS Strong financial background and ability of developing forecasts and business cases.


MS Office proficiency, with excellent presentation, analysis and concept developing skills Fluent in English (written and spoken); Arabic skills a plus


Experience in leading others, working in cross-functional matrix teams and a proven track record of bringing new innovation to market.
