Purpose of the Role:
Lead marketing initiatives to drive awareness, build strong association and interest for the brands being managed in the division
Summary of the Job Role:
To be responsible for:
- Marketing management
- Budget management
- Principal relationship management
Authorities:
- Plan, prioritize and allocate approved marketing budget while ensuring appropriate approvals are in place.
- Ensuring budget and timely process adherence
Key Outputs:
Marketing Management:
- Develop overall marketing strategy and plan for each brand aligned with brand + sales objectives/ plans
- Develop and execute appropriate ATL/ BTL/ Through-The-Line communication initiatives for the brand and ensure optimum ROI
- Plan and execute new product launches in accordance with the brand and budgetary guidelines
- Identify, plan and manage customer engagement events, exhibition participation, product displays etc. to enhance brand image and visibility
- Identify and manage co-branding opportunities wherever possible
- Manage the brands digital initiatives including the regional webpage and social media initiatives
- Ensure adequate and appropriate showroom branding is done in line with brand guidelines to enhance retail appeal
- Ensure adequate stock of product literature and/or design, produce/ order when required
- Remain available to assist/ manage marketing related initiatives for other divisions/ MHD Corporate as may be required from time-to-time
- Assist other support teams – service, parts, used car etc in fulfilling any branding/ marketing requirements they may have
Budget Management:
- Plan and allocate marketing budgets in line with brand/ sales requirements and within the organizational framework
- Ensure optimum adherence to budgets with no overruns
- Follow prescribed approval/ allocation processes with respect to budgets
