- Develop the Sales & After-Sales business strategy
- Provide Head of Sales – CV/PC & Head of Service – CV/PC with the business forecast budget, labor turnover, parts turnover and profit
- Define the market segment and develop marketing plan
- Monitor regularly the performance of the branch against the budget
- Provide General Manager Commercial Vehicles with regular reports.
Customer Satisfaction Management
- Set and monitor business targets related to CSI scores
- Develop and maintain a system to continuously improve customer satisfaction
- Implement improvement measures and develop customer-care programs on the basis of the CSI report
- Handle customer complaint when the case is escalated
- Represent the After-Sales department in liability / legal cases
Operations Management
- Monitor performance of workshop, parts department, reception office, sales showroom and provide guidance whenever is needed
- Review the reports on quality control
- Develop and maintain relationship with customers (e.g. government bodies, fleet owners, insurance companies etc)
Customer Relationship Management
- Ensure that customer complaints are handled tactfully, promptly and with genuine concern according to the company policies as well as escalate difficult cases immediately to the Head of Sales CV/PC
- Implement customer lifecycle follow-up measures to increase customer satisfaction and loyalty
- Ensure a prospect development system and participate in local business networking activities
- Ensure prompt update of customer database and records with sales information
Inventory Management
- Decide parts inventory according to the business plans and model mix to support effectively the workshop operations
- Setup stock take and approve scrapping according to the company policy
Market Analysis
- Conduct and evaluate the market potential and business development in the operating territory
- Analyze the present market shares and customer vehicle retention
- Evaluate the activities from the major competitors and also implement market specific-strategies and measures with the support of Marketing and CRM department for the exploitation of business potential
- Recommend the pricing strategies to Head of After-Sales
People Management
- Manage the performance of subordinates by setting targets and monitoring results
- Develop and motivate subordinates according to their abilities and needs of the dealership
- Determine training needs and secure suitable training
- Ensure full participation and certification as per DRS requirements
- Provide continuous guidance, support and feedback to subordinates
- Facilitate a working environment for good employee satisfaction
Pre-Delivery Inspection
- Ensure a proper inspection of the new vehicles(e.g. technical check of vehicle condition and analysis of required reconditioning work)
- Ensure reconditioning of the vehicles according to manufacturer standards
