This position is responsible for the maintenance and repair of Hoist equipment, including hydraulic , diesel and well control equipment , while mentoring/training Mechanics.
Key Responsibilities and Tasks
1. Attend safety meetings and keep updated equipment changes on hoist.
2. Maintain a preventative maintenance schedule for all mechanical equipment.
3. Keep the equipment maintained and in good conditions
4. Analyse, replace or repair hoist equipment, hydraulic equipment, power train and diesel equipment.
5. Consistently maintain a log of all work performed.
6. Ensure an adequate amount of tools and spare parts are available and, as needed, submit requisitions to Asset Manager / Purchasing Manager for approval.
7. As needed, train and mentor Mechanics on processes, HSE and safety procedures and Company policies and procedures
8. Rig-up/rig-down all mechanical aspects of the work over hoist and maintain/repair all mechanical equipment.
9. Abide by Company policies and procedures.
10. Other duties and special projects as assigned.
11. Position Specific Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
12. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required..
13. Should have at least 10 years of Mechanic work experience on Hoists or Rigs.
14. Degree/ Diploma is require, May be substituted with addition experience.
15. Must have good verbal and written English communication skills and be able to effectively communicate with staff, management, and team.
16. Must have good experience and ability with computer system
17. Must have good applicable knowledge of HSE related to his field.
18. work will be in rotation base.
