Black & Grey HR is recruiting for one of the leading media groups with big brands in print, digital, video and radio in Muscat, Oman. Our client is looking to hire a qualified bilingual
<b>"Account Executive - Events"</b> to manage customer accounts and liaise with them for every aspect of an event, from choosing venues to evaluating success afterwards. You will be the key contact of your assigned clients.
<br />
<br />Understand requirements for each event
<br />Plan event with attention to financial and time constraints
<br />Book venues and schedule speakers
<br />Research vendors (catering, decorators, musicians etc.) and choose the best combination of quality and cost
<br />Negotiate with vendors to achieve the most favorable terms
<br />Hire personnel
<br />Manage all event operations (preparing venue, invitations etc.)
<br />Do final checks at the day of the event (e.g. tables, technology) to ensure everything meets standards
<br />Oversee event happenings and act quickly to resolve problems
<br />Evaluate event's success and submit reports
<br />
<br />
<b>NOTE : NOC from current/last employer is required for Candidates employed in OMAN & applying for the opportunity</b>
<br />
<br />RequirementsProven experience as a Events Account Executive or similar
<br />Hand-on experience in events
<br />Self-motivated with a results-driven approach
<br />Familiarity with media planning and buying
<br />Proficiency in English. Arabic will be a plus.
<br />Good research and networking skills
<br />
