- Effectively run the Loan Review Mechanism in accordance with regulatory and internal requirements
- To suggest means to Minimize/mitigate Risks that are identified
- Remain alert to market changes and assess impact on the credit portfolio, as applicable
- Keep abreast with and fully comply with Bank’s credit policies and regulatory policies
- Ensure accurate reporting to regulatory authorities
- Critically examine Credit Approval Process.
- To alert business units to adverse impacts to individual/sectoral exposures on an early warning basis.
- Establish the review mechanism for the corporate portfolio based on internal ratings and retail credit on a portfolio basis.
- Identify loans which exhibit potential credit weaknesses and suggest timely & corrective measures.
- Evaluate corporate portfolio for industry sector concentrations.
- Examining the adequacy of loan loss provisions.
- Ensuring adherence to, loan policies and procedures, and to monitor compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
