Our Client: An FMCG company in the region is looking to hire a Corporate Strategy Advisor to be based in Oman.
Your Role: The job requires a jack of all trades, not only your technical competencies, ability to sift the wheat from the chaff but also work and influence people in the organization who are change resistant. The position is one with high visibility and provides thought leadership on a variety of issues, operating with a small team initially you would be responsible identifying key strategic issues, assist different business units in development of their strategy plans, execute internal consulting projects, lead and refine the current plans. Develop and present to senior management the recommendations garnered from various business streams, identify opportunities for growth, potential M&A and create a positive flow of synergy between various business entities and their functions. Work closely with the Communications Manager to discuss the current business strategy and elements of the plan. Reporting directly to the Chairman and provide a regular update on business performance and offer relevant proposals on keeping the business stronger.
