The Country Manager will be responsible in overseeing and managing overall operations. This role will also manage and consistently improve the sales, operational and financial performance of a geographic area through the application of end-to-end management presence and leadership. He will be core responsible for P&L, retail and Executive Sales & Marketing and reach the target along with the Team. Line management of Operations, Sales and Customer Service.


 


Key Responsibilities:


 


  • Building a company’s brand in a specific country or region. Devise advertising and promotional plans and are involved in product positioning and global brand marketing development.

  • Assess company progress, sales and marketing successes and compile reports to submit to superiors in corporate headquarters. Prepare reports regarding budgets, sales growth or declines, new business leads and regulatory compliance.

  • Ensure that all aspects of a business operate smoothly and ensure that a business’s in-country affiliate adheres to all country regulations and cultural guidelines.

  • Develop plans for company growth and improvement of sales.

  • Country Manager will be involved in staff selection, training development, scheduling and ongoing professional development of employees.

  • Manage the business development and operational performance of the defined business area to deliver the company’s goals in terms of profitability and market leadership.

  • Ensure that all area staffs are aware of, and adhere to, all relevant local and external health and safety laws and policies.

  • Direct the sales team/s and manage the trade-off between sales volumes and margins. Set pricing policies that match long term business objectives with tactical flexibility at client, channel and equipment level.

  • Analyse, evaluate and monitor all key operational performance indicators’, ensuring monthly performance is clearly understood in regard to customer service, quality standards, operational efficiency, and financial results.

  • Direct, develop, motivate and support all sales and operational reports, in order to ensure that business objectives are met to agreed timescales.

  • Ensure the assets of the area are used effectively to achieve the return on capital employed as defined by the gross payback analysis.

  • Ensure that the area business is legally compliant with all local employment/regulatory requirements, including employment and residency visa’s.

  • Set the standards of ethics, behaviour and attitude required in the workforce by demonstrating management best practice and commitment to company values.
