- To handle overseas and local procurement of finished goods / semifinished goods / services.
- To initiate RFQ based on PR and prepare techno / commercial comparison sheet, in coordinate with respective department.
- To negotiate with principals / suppliers / vendors to ensure the price is within budget and to ensure cost saving.
- To convert PR to PO and ensure timely approval and release of order to principals / suppliers / vendors.
- To handle logistics function and do necessary documentation, to ensure timely receipt of consignments.
- Float sea and air freight requirements after qualifying forwarders/ freight vendors, compare and work out most competitive rates and timely shipments.
- To coordinate with central commercial team for timely process of consignment costing.
- To coordinate with Stores and ensure timely delivery of consignment to customer place.
- To handle commercial documentation with customer.
- To handle principals / suppliers / vendors payments and ensure timely process.
- To lead / guide support staffs and obtain desired output for smooth function of the department.
- To ensure timely action at each point, to ensure that no loss is incurred by the company, due to delayed action
