1. Coordinate with Cost Control / Estimators, implement, and maintain construction management system, including setting up projects (jobs), budgets, job costs, cost codes, contracts, change orders, purchase orders, and various construction progress reports.
2. Review and analyse capitalization of costs. Ensure compliance with policy.
3. Manage process for proper coding of construction invoices (payment applications) and lien releases for contractor and vendor invoices. Maintain contract documents including records of lien releases in appropriate files.
4. Analyse and review construction status with Project/Construction Managers. Direct and participate in cost analyses.
5. Prepare/gather materials related to construction and cost accounting matters for internal and external auditors.
6. Create and analyse liability, asset, and capital accounts
7. Summarize and prepare financial status and transactions reports, including a profit and loss statement, and other necessary reports as directed by Finance Manager
8. Create and coordinate with Finance Manager for a Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) manual for accounting policy and regulations, and roll out reconciliation procedures
9. Focus on tax compliance, business registration, creating, distributing, and reporting tax datasheets, contract review, and tax filing
10. Play a vital part in the company's financial management which includes all account reconciliations and reporting to necessary parties
11. Supervise team of accountants
12. Manage ERP system attributes used to control Development Lifecycle reports
