· Supervise and participate in kitchen and dining activities (if necessary).
· Maintain and ensure compliance to establish food quality preparation, service, sanitation and safety procedures.
· Recommend measures for improving work procedures and work performance to increase service quality and enhance job efficiency.
· Knowledgeable and be able to describe them appropriately to guests.
· Being articulate, professional, polite and alert in answering phone calls/inquiries.
· To ensure that foods/order to deliver are correct as exactly as ordered with the attachment of receipt in a timely manner by taking orders correctly.
· Enter orders into our point-of-sale systems which relay orders to the kitchen and bar.
· Prepare all paper works/reports on a daily basis.
· Handle and monitor petty cash expenses – make a request if necessary.
1. Cleanliness and Orderliness
· Maintain clean service areas.
· To ensure that trash bin must be cleaned and taking out regularly.
· To ensure that washroom is complete with tissue paper/hand towel and liquid soap.
· To ensure that glass walls and glass doors are clean.
· To maintain cleanliness of counter/cashier.
2. Customer Focus
· Be friendly, smiley, sociable and welcoming to your customers, to create a great atmosphere – open the door upon entering of the customer.
· Greet customers in a pleasing manner immediately – make them feel comfortable.
· Handling/delivery menus in a courteous manner and assist the customer to a vacant table.
· Offer suggestions by using suggestive selling techniques (daily specials, cocktails, appetizers, entrees, desserts, and after dinner beverages).
· Remain calm, patient and polite, if receiving customer feedback and resolving guest’s complaints.
· Be helpful and go out of your way to help our customers - monitor and observe guests dining experience. Ensure guests are satisfied with the food and service.
· Respond promptly and courteously to any requests - ensure that everything is going well.
· Thank guests for their visit and invite them to return.
3. Cashier
· Prepare final bill, present check to guest, accept payment, process credit card charges or make a change (if applicable).
4. Honesty and Integrity
· Handles money properly
· Before handling the change to the customer – double check the receipt (amount/the list of orders/prices)
· Proper handover of cash – no shortages and overages
· To ensure balance cash from order system
5. Teamwork
· Always be a good team player and a leader
· Build and maintain good relationships with all team members
· Work together with the team to ensure that the restaurant best it can be - be ready and willing to assist fellow colleagues as situations arise and be ready and willing to assist colleagues with clearing and resetting tables.
· Be willing to take on jobs to balance the team workload - be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant as directed by the Branch Manager or immediate assistant.
· Others
· Report all equipment problems and restaurant maintenance issues to the Branch Manager/Assistant Branch Manager to arrange a schedule for repairs.
