General Description:
Responsible for providing overall technical expertise on the finishing activities; directing, coordinating, and exercising functional authority for planning, organizing, control, integration, and completion relevant to the Finishing scope of works ensuring safe, reliable, and effective performance.
Job description:
1. Responsible for all finishing activities From Shell & Core to Handing over stage (Including False Ceiling, Gypsum Walls, Tiling and Marble works, parquet flooring…) supervise the execution and installations activities along with the implementation of the Project Quality Standards that are responsive to the policies, procedures, and manuals as defined in the contractual agreement.
2. Review requirements of the specification and relevant standards and ensure understanding and compliance of work done with the specified requirements of the specification and drawings.
3. Determine project costs by calculating labor, material, and related costs.
4. Overall allocating responsibilities, supervising and coordinating with Finishing Foreman and team
5. Review of project schedule and adjust work in accordance to milestones and company requirements, plan in advance for critical activities and arrange
6. Follow-up with Foreman for efficient usage of materials to minimize wastage, and supervise materials storage area.
7. Coordinates and monitors with subcontractors for their daily construction activities and their obligations
8. Implement, manage and maintain an effective working relation with the workgroups to ensure that work proceeds without disruption, and maintain daily communications to ensure the accurate and timely flow of information.
9. Advise Project Manager & Construction Head regarding developments that could affect project schedule, costs, client relations, and or inter‐departmental relations.
10. Monitor Site & Project Engineers in aspect to the tasks & coordinate accordingly in improving performance where & how it is required.
11. Perform supervision with precaution and safety awareness and while supervising have the responsibility in ensuring their compliance with the established safety policies and procedures.
12. Comply with all statutory requirements connected with the implementation of the project and ensure proper handing over of project including transmittal of final documentation to the client.
13. Monitor and enhance the workshop for the joinery division of the company.
14. Technical Commercial Evaluation for Finishing items, i.e. FF&E, Loose Furniture, and Fixed Furniture materials.
15. To Focus on Safety, Quality, time, cost aspects of the project.
16. Any other duties as assigned by HOD or General Manager.
