Advertising account planner - you'll be responsible for creating the communication strategy for various clients advertising campaigns including targeting the right audience, setting the tone and message of the campaign and writing creative briefs.
- Liaise with clients to identify business problems and develop ideas (develop innovative ways to reach consumers), meeting them to learn the background of the brand and advise on possible approaches to the target market.
- Communicate with colleagues within the agency, such as creatives and account managers, in the process of developing a campaign.
- Gaining a comprehensive context for advertising strategies by analyzing a range of information in great detail, including demographics, socio-economics and the market for the client’s product and market share.
- Commission research to inform advertising strategies, using both qualitative and quantitative methods, such as focus groups and structured interviews, demographic profiling and questionnaires. Running qualitative research groups; using a variety of market research data to monitor cultural and social trends and their impact on consumers’ attitudes, behaviors and perceptions.
- Reconcile the differences between consumers’ current perceptions of the brand and the way the client wishes the brand to be perceived.
- Provide the creative team with a clearly defined brief that contains concise information on the product, audience and strategy so that they can develop creative ideas applicable to the media channels that will promote the idea most effectively. Also, present conclusions and ideas to client and other agency staff (Evaluating campaign effectiveness)
- The primary responsibility is also to manage the development of people, offer training programmes to develop their skills and increase their performance.
- Maintain a good interpersonal and cordial relationship with your coworkers and clients
- The employee shall work as a team and perform assigned duties and responsibilities in a professional manner, in good faith, and to the best of Employee's skills, abilities, talents and experience in coordination with Executive Heads, Client Servicing/ Social Media Management, Creative/Art Directors, Event Planners, and other team members of the company.
