Job title: Female Massage Therapist

Job description: Ramada Encore Muscat is now seeking a Female Massage Therapist to join our team at the hotel location in Muscat, Oman.
Job Summary
The therapist will contribute to the performance of the hotel by ensuring that the guests utilize the gym equipment as per standard and assist guest at the gym. He/ She will be knowledgeable in the instruction protocols for all equipment in the gym, cardiovascular, circuit and free weight equipment and know how the equipment works.
Education & Experience
- At least 1 to 2 years’ experience in similar position
- Experience in 4 – star hotel or health club
- Basic knowledge of gym equipment
- Fitness certification
Key Responsibilities
- Must be familiar with The Spa facilities and be capable of explaining them to our guests. E.g. – operation of steam/showers.
- Must be competent in the use and maintenance of spa operational equipment.
- Must have a solid understanding of The Spa treatments and products and be capable of conducting treatments with guests to the standards set by the Group Spa Trainer
- Must be capable of confidently communicating product knowledge details to guests who may ask questions during the treatment.
- Must aim to exceed guest’s expectations in every aspect of conducting a spa treatment.
- To attend to morning preparation before opening The Spa each day and attend to closing procedures at the close of business each day.
- Prepare fresh product to be used in the spa operation
- Stock The Spa suites with sufficient linen for daily operation as per SOP.
