Job Description and Qualifications


II. POSITION SUMMARY

 

  • Control over all activities in stores
  • Ensure storing both as to quality and quantity of materials.
  • Maintain receipts, records, and withdrawals of the stockroom.
  • Inspect deliveries for damage or discrepancies and report those to accounting for reimbursements and record keeping.
  • Ensure adequate record keeping and manage all inventory documentation
  • Initiate purchase requisitions for the replacement of stock of all regular stores items whenever the stock level of any item of store approaches the minimum limit fixed in respect thereof.
  • Check and receive purchased materials forwarded by the purchase department and to arrange for the storage in appropriate places and issue the Goods Received Voucher(GRV)
  • Check the book balances, with the actual physical stock at frequent intervals by way of internal control over wrong issues, pilferage, etc.
  • Record bulks and new cylinders deliveries
  • Reporting stock level
  • Safety stock level list
  • SAP
  • Inventory management

IV. DIMENSIONS:

  • Spare parts store
  • Bulk inventory: LOX, LIN, LCO2, LAR
  • Cylinders: Oxygen,Hydrogen and all traded gases and chemicals…
  • Grades: Industrial and UHPs
  • Ability to work flexible shifts as directed by the plant manager


V. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES



This position is accountable for the following end results:

  1. Compliance with BSP and embrace the safety culture.
  2. Full quality awareness.
  3. Attend all meetings, presentations, coffee talks, trainings as requested by the line supervisor.
  4. Report incidents/accidents and take immediate actions in the event of an emergency and report in line with procedures.
  5. Follow all EH&S training requirements for Distribution personnel, all equipment and procedures to ensure that products are delivered to the customer expectations, having met all relevant company and international standards
  6. Participate in any CI event as requested by line supervisor.
  7. Report NCRs and to ensure compliance with the ERP procedures
  8. Monitor the operating equipment and keep them running well.
  9. Ensure the reliability of supply to customer.
  10. Execute Supervisor’s direction and provide feedback.
  11. Keep effective communications with Operations, Sales, customers, etc.
  12. Improve English skills, be able to read, speak and write
  13. To report any deficiency in the local distribution system
