Job Description
A western upstream oil and gas company is seeking Senior Reporting & Planning Analyst to mainly look after company’s budgeting and cost control. And to be specialized in preparing reports to meet stakeholders’ requirements, whether those parties are individuals or businesses. Adding to that they should a minimum 10 years’ experience in Oil and gas field and experience finance budgeting and forecasting.
Job responsibilities:
- Preparation of corporate budget and issue budget booklet.
- Tracking of expenditure vs budgets
- Handling of AFE preparations & tracking
- Overseeing the budgeting and cost control functionality in the ERP system.
- Preparing monthly financial performance outcomes
- Support the preparations of presentation and other management reports as required.
- Custodian of receiving and actioning all stakeholder’s meeting requirements
- Custodian of Ministry of Mineral AMS system.
- Preparation of external communications (formal letters to MOG & JV partners) regarding monthly financial reports, budgeting and expenditures.
- Prepare financial evaluation-vendors-assessment- for bidders/suppliers & provide recommendations on financial stability & capability to the tendering team & supply chain.
- Prepare monthly costs & cash flow forecast phased for the year.
- Liaise with different departments to ensure forecasts are updated on a monthly basis.
- Lead the preparation of presentations for board’s meetings, monthly performance review, and partners report.

- Management skills Good level of understanding in Oil & Gas eco system.

- Working with SUN system or any similar accounting system.
Required/Know How:
– Experience in finance budgeting and forecasting.
– Experience in Tender Board Committee and internal tender committee
