A leading company in Ibri, Oman is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a similar role. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing all aspects of the company's financial operations, including but not limited to financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and tax compliance.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Ensure accurate and timely recording of all financial transactions.
- Manage the company's budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Oversee the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with local tax regulations.
- Conduct regular internal audits to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Coordinate with external auditors and provide necessary documentation and support during audits.
- Monitor and analyze financial performance, identify trends, and recommend actions to improve profitability and efficiency.
- Develop and implement financial controls and procedures to safeguard company assets.
- Manage and develop a team of accounting professionals.
- Stay updated on accounting regulations and industry trends to ensure compliance and best practices.
