We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Staff Nurse to join our healthcare team in Oman muscat. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care and will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best outcomes for patients. As a Staff Nurse, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care. You will play a crucial role in monitoring patients' conditions, administering medications, and providing emotional support to patients and their families.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine care needs and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
- Monitor and document patient progress, vital signs, and any changes in condition, reporting significant findings to the healthcare team.
- Provide education and support to patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, and post-discharge care.
- Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Participate in continuous professional development and training to enhance nursing skills and knowledge.
- Assist in the orientation and training of new nursing staff and interns.
- Ensure a safe and hygienic environment for patients by adhering to infection control protocols.
- Actively participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of nursing best practices.
Preferred Candidate:
- Registered Nurse BSC/Gnm Female/Male with license or Without license clinical experience, preferably in a hospital setting.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Demonstrated ability to handle high-pressure situations and make sound clinical decisions.
- Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care, with a focus on patient-centered practices.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail to manage multiple patient cases.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment and contribute positively to team dynamics.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with nursing best practices.
- Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) and other healthcare technologies.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
