One of our client a listed company in Oman is looking out for a Legal Counsel Manager reporting to the General Manager.
The incumbent will be responsible for counselling the General manager on company compliance to all local regulations on all company matters.
Ensuring proposer update of contracts and internal regulations. Will represent the company with the legal firms, and with government authorities on matters as assigned by the General manager.
Make the relevant and up to date contract terms and conditions including manpower, vendor, partners, clients.
Reports to the General Manager the update on company compliance and risks foreseen from the company, along with any new law, ministerial decision or other that will or will not have an impact on the company.
Assess contract risks, advise General Manager and when required.
Draft initial / final contracts including specifications, and all other standard clauses that reflect the terms of reference which protect the company’s interests within the given parameters.
