• Responsible for the preparation of a cost effective and technically competent proposal and /or quotation that meets customer’s requirements in a timely manner.
• Defining the cost estimate of materials, fabrication, welding, or subcontracted work and labor for tender or project.
• Deriving the quantity of takeoff material from tender drawings from tender /project specifications and finding a Manpower requirement.
• Analyzing specifications, including sketches, BOM or sample layouts, and calculate total costs using labor and material pricing schedules and historical data.
• Preparing a competitive system proposal on time.
• Liaison with internal customers, sub-contractors and suppliers for quotations.
• Working closely with project team to win project orders.
• Preparation and maintaining historical data base on a regular basis. • Closely work with Proposal Team for submission of multimillion dollar bids/proposals on-time, follow-up and client relationship/review meeting and further follow-up
• Conduct Bid Strategy Meeting.
• Scrutinize the tender documents in all respects and bring out discrepancies, deficiencies etc,
• Review and finalize pre-qualification documentation and surveys as required assisting the commercial department.
• Review & finalize expression of interest documentation and company capability statements as required for business development purposes.
• Review, compile and forward the tender prices of different discipline for approval of the management.
• Prepare pre-bid reports and update as necessary job progress schedule in coordination with the proposal Manager.
