Main Responsibilities
- Reviewing all construction milestones including; concept design and single line diagram, as planned and as-built drawings
- Assurance of the accuracy of site surveys and reflection of the ground reality on construction drawings
- Check and approval of the as-planned drawings including high level and low level designs
- Management of the day-to-day operations with a month and week forward planning
- Material Just-in-Time planning
- Human resource and machinery planning based on the project implementation plans
- Assurance of the availability of the materials and resources as per the plan Risk register and
mitigation planning
- Change management and control
- HSE high level management
- Quality control assurance
- Documentation and completion certificate management as per the project plans
- Daily, weekly and monthly required reporting of physical and budgetary progress
- Follow up and management of the permission teams to assure necessary utility and governmental excavation permissions issued as per the project plans.
Other Responsibilities:
- End-to-end management of all activities
related to the implementation of the FTTx and Fiber Optic Backbone networks, including, design, implementation and operation.
- Manage the design of the Outside Plant Fiber Network beginning with preliminary design to assure plans are fully constructible.
- Management of the site related activities for both civil and telecom teams assuring production plans meet the project plans.
- Assure outside plant construction completion certificates have been reached as per the project milestones and operation delivered to the project client.
- Assure necessary procedures and controls are in place in such a way that construction meets the authority approved drawings in terms of right of way or distance to third party premises.
- Provide a weekly and monthly project dashboard to the management.
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert for Fiber Architecture Standards.
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert for City Construction Regulations.
- Act as of the Point of Contact for Local OSP Engineering Vendors.
- Conduct Onsite Review/Fielding of Design Variance Requests.
- Creates and Manages City Permit Matrix
- Provide monthly evaluation matrix of the subcontractors based on the company policy.
- Conduct weekly dashboard reporting on Status and Progress of Local OSP Vendors.
- Assure proper documentation of the conflicts with existing utilities and obtain necessary approvals and variations in case change of the design or scope requires in a timely manner to avoid delays in implementation
