- Responsible for all Production operations
directly linked to the production output schedule. Company plant does work shifts .
- Collaborates with Senior Plant Manager
Cables and planning group on short and long term production scheduling.
- Supporting optimisation of manufacturing processes and procedures for any new and existing products.
- Actively interacts with R & D to ensure effective new product transfer to operations, Including translation of customerb requirements into company cable specifications.
- Ensure Quality Systems requirements andstandards are met in the production environment of all Optical Cable products.
- Participation inside internal as well as external audits, any cable product complaint resolutions, document review/ upgradesb/approvals, etc.
- Participates in the development of the company business from a production management position attends monthly meetings .
- Provides daily leadership to the production team.
- Safe working environment and ensuring correct staff training and awareness.
- Responsible for meeting QHSE health, safety and environmental interlinked plant goals.
