• Ensure that all valuation transactions are recorded in compliance with SGRF’s valuation policies and procedures.
• Implement finance system, procedures, and internal controls.
• Analyze transactions, determine accuracy, and ensure completeness and compliance to established policies and procedures.
• Stay abreast of the latest applicable valuation leading practices.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors, and provide all required information to the concerned parties in order to facilitate the preparation of internal and external audit reports.
• Prepare and generate, under the directions of the Senior Manager / Manager - Valuation, reports relevant to the section.
• Build and maintain strong and effective relationship with the all other related units to achieve the Department’s goals/objectives.
• Ensure that the overall processes pertaining to valuation are conducted in an efficient and effective manner.
• Carry out the price verification/benchmark processes including the calculation of fair value adjustments
• Ensure high standards of confidentiality to safeguard commercially sensitive information.
• Responsible for implementing the control framework set across the valuation processes
• Identify areas for professional development of self and all direct reports, and act to enhance professional development of self and others.
• Keep the Senior Manager / Manager - Valuation informed of significant issues related to Valuation processes that may jeopardize the achievement of SGRF’s goals.
• Review and approve NAV reports and ensure abidance by the set methodology and application of adequate assumptions.
• Assess valuation methods for new investments and conducts asset revaluations where required.
