Sales Manager - IT Solutions
Salary: based on Experience
Location: Oman
Our Client is a well-established Trading company with diversified interests in various sectors in the market
The organization has been in operation for many decades providing products and services to a growing client base across Oman, GCC and Abroad.
As a result of this expansion, we are seeking a highly talented Sales Manager with technical savvy and the drive to succeed
Key role, reporting to Head of Department, is responsibility of Business development and advising on IT Solutions & Services; and sales responsibilities, including generating new leads within Oman
Responsibilities:
• Design and implement a strategic business plan that expands company’s customer base and ensure its strong presence
• Achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully managing the sales team
• Own recruiting, objectives setting, coaching and performance monitoring of sales representatives
• Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs
• Present sales, revenue and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the management team
• Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status
• Determine annual unit and gross-profit plans by implementing marketing strategies; analyzing trends and results.
• Establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for regions and territories; projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products.
• Implement national sales programs by developing field sales action plans.
• Maintain sales volume, product mix, and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors.
• Establish and adjusts selling prices by monitoring costs, competition, and supply and demand.
• Completes national sales operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results.
• Maintain national sales staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
• Maintain national sales staff job results by counseling and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
• Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Identification and qualification of new revenue generating sales opportunities
• Carrying out the supporting market studies
• Writing and coordinating country and multi-country tender responses
• Prepare and present high-quality client proposals to develop new business in line with the Company IT Services Sales Strategy.
