Job Description:
Job Purpose : Lead essential role to the Operations Department and responsible for the daily production activities of the RESIN lines process.
Key responsibilities and activities:
Managerial:
• To plan, organize and control production in an organization to ensure that goods are produced efficiently, on time and within client standards
• Provide technical leadership to the RESIN manufacturing production operations.
• Assess overall production process to improve production efficiency
• Conduct employee performance reviews and monitor the performance of staff and organize necessary interventions for improvement
• Ensure efficient collaboration and co-ordination between relevant departments including procurement, distribution and management
• Manage human and material resources to meet production targets
Operational:
Focus on cost reduction activities that will not affect the quality of the product.
• Plan a production schedule for the job, implement, control the production schedule, review and adjust the schedule where needed
• Determine and implement improvements to the production process
• Prepare and maintain production reports
• Ensure that standard operating procedures are adhered to
• Ensure implementation and adherence to health and safety procedures
• Analyze production and quality control to detect and correct problems
• Monitor quality standards of products, Implement, enforce quality control & tracking programs to meet quality objectives
• Direct and coordinate factory operations within the company policies and procedures as per ISO BRC standards.
• Supervise, lead and direct the production supervisors and extruder operators.
• Motivating approach to subordinates to reduce work pressure at the same time improved work efficiency to attain production objectives.
• Reviewing and approving plans for the control of planned output, budget spending, material efficiency and human resources.
• Responsible for optimal execution of factory production objectives, policies and procedures.
• Confer with other department heads to ensure coordination of purchasing, production and other functions in the factory.
• Attend scheduled corporate training and meetings.
• Establishing strong working relationships will all levels of OCTAL employees
