Job Purpose:-
• To Maintain the Distribution Control System and Instrumentation Control Maintenance (DCS & I&C) of a CCGT Power Plant located at Ibri and Sohar.
• To provide technical assistance and supervise other I/C maintenance staff in planning and scheduling of their work, assigning jobs, sourcing required tools and equipment, arranging materials and spares for carrying out the maintenance activities.
• To maintain the plant instrumentation, DCS, ESD, FGS, PLC, Analyzers, machine monitoring system and package instruments and control system and maximize their availability for uninterrupted plant operation by following different maintenance strategies and proper job and spares planning.
• To be involved in the planning of work as per plant priority. ? To implement plant modifications to improve plant reliability and add value to maintenance tasks.
Qualifications:-
• Degree in Electronics/ Mechatronics/ Instrumentation Engineering.
Experience:-
• 8 years of experience in GT-26 CCGT Power plant Sector for Instrumentation & Control Engineering.
Knowledge and Skills:-
• Power sector understanding - Electrical and Mechanical maintenance for the Plant
• Power Plant Control System maintenance of Alstom Machine control system.
• Experience in SAP based maintenance planning .
• Organizational Health and Safety Management.
• Working of Generating station- O&M.
• Procurement knowledge.
• IT knowledge and experience - understanding of Network security and Cyber Security
• SAP System
