Job Purpose:-
• To conduct plant maintenance and up-keep of electrical installations, associated systems and facilities of a Power Plant located at Ibri and Sohar, so to ensure reliable operation to the fullest satisfaction of the customers and optimum usage of assets; plan, schedule.
• To monitor the execution of routine preventive/predictive electrical maintenance and breakdown maintenance on generation facilities and ensure adherence to the company's quality procedures.
• To maintain the plant and building Electrical systems, substation equipment and package Electrical systems and maximize their availability for uninterrupted plant operation by following different maintenance strategies, procedures and through proper job and spares planning.
Qualifications:-
• Electrical Engineering Bachelor Degree
Experience:-
• 8 years of experience in electrical maintenance of CCGT Power plant
Knowledge and Skills:-
• Through Power sector understanding - Electrical Maintenance for the Plant
• Maintenance expertise on state of the art electrical equipment.
• knowledge of DCS and SCADA systems, SAP and Alstom GT 26 controls system
• Experience on gas insulated switchgear up to 400 KV, generator controls and excitation controls
• Organizational Health and Safety Management.
• Working of Generating station- O&M
