Purpose:


Overall responsibility for carrying out business of the After sales division with in the budgeted parameters.
Regularly monitor the Service, Parts & QA system and its implementation, define procedures, functions and responsibilities for the QA system.
Growth of Business and Product and service diversification.



Summary of the Job Role:


Delegation of authority
annual budget
coordination of functions with various departments / divisions for smooth functioning
and growth of the business.



Authorities:


Overall responsibility for carrying out business of the division with in the budgeted parameters, Control technical and service operations, and control purchase and inventory.



Key Outputs:


Oversee systems and process to deliver the cars after service with the best quality and customer satisfaction
Technical issues are sorted out in co-ordination with the Principals and feedback are provided.
Implement new systems and processes to enhance value of service and parts products
Ensure and provide with required training for staff and technicians to update their knowledge and skill.
Regular liaison with government and private fleet customers to establish a good rapport with key personnel.
Approve vendors and periodically review the existing vendors / suppliers.
Development and introduction of new products.
To ensure that commitments to the customers are met as per the agreed terms, conditions and quality of service is maintained to the desired standard.



Over all responsibility for quality, health, safety and environment of the division as applicable.
Initiate steps for training / up gradation of staff skills / knowledge.
Review customer complaints and take corrective action for improvement of the business.
To assign the job among the staff of the division as per their competency for effective discharge of duties and work responsibility

Qualifications:


Required –


BE with minimum 8 to 10 years experience in large Automotive Industry.
Desired –


Thorough knowledge in Service operations
Technical knowledge on servicing of cars
Thorough knowledge on Inventory / Parts pricing / procurement and Financial transactions
Computer literate


Skills/Knowledge


Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Proficiency in Computers
Use of MS office and exposure
Proficiency in operating DMS / ERP systems
Excellent analytical skills and problem-solving skills
Excellent team player and motivator
Experience in training and handling staff.
