The ideal candidate will be part of a highly motivated, qualified and growing investment team. The candidate shall have a minimum of 4 years of experience in an investment bank, consulting firm or private equity firm, where he/she is involved in financial due diligence, preparation of investment memorandum and financial model, post investment monitoring and other related activities.
• Duties and Responsibilities:
• To conduct financial due diligence, cash flow analysis, preparation of Investment Note and financial models.
• To support and manage deal execution by structuring and documenting.
• To manage portfolio companies by working closely with management teams to assess opportunities in new and existing markets, and improve core operations.
• To maintain deal pipeline, track market M&A activity, collate internal updates, prepare investment presentations for Board and Senior Management.
• To carry out post investment monitoring by reviewing annual business plan and variance analysis of the Investee Companies on a periodic basis.
• To contribute towards efficient management of the company's discretionary investment portfolio.
• Qualification and skills required:
• Bachelors Degree in Finance or similar filed from top-tier university and have a minimum of 4 years of experience with a leading Private Equity fund/Consulting firm or an Investment Bank and preferably with an MBA (Finance / Investment) or other relevant professional qualification.
• Strong financial modeling skills and advanced MS Excel / PowerPoint skills with focus on Private Equity /venture Capital.
• Fluency in written and spoken English is a must with excellent interpersonal skills. Arabic would be a significant advantage.
• You must be able to work independently and collaboratively with other team members.
• Preference would be given to Omani candidates.
